I believe that investing in, contributing to and scaling the impact of social innovations, by facilitating collaboration between social entrepreneurs, civil society and the corporate sector, is the way forward for the bottom billion to break out of the cycle of poverty. What we need are systems (business/livelihoods, health, energy, finance) that strengthen each other (as opposed to coming with competing agenda’s), to empower low-income people and communities to live their lives to their full potential.
My ambition is to contribute to a more just economy, with a special focus on inclusiveness, social entrepreneurship and innovation.
