I believe that investing in, contributing to and supporting social innovations, by facilitating collaboration between social entrepreneurs, civil society and the corporate sector, is the way forward for the bottom billion to break out of the cycle of poverty. What we need are supporting systems (health, energy, finance) to empower them to live their lives to their full potential.
My ambition is to contribute to a more just economy, accessible for the poor, with a special focus on inclusiveness, social entrepreneurship and innovation. I am highly motivated to work together on pro-poor initiatives in which social and financial gains go hand in hand. That is why I co-founded “Micro Credit for Mothers”, and more recently started the global movement “Credits for Communities”, of course in close collaboration with a network of partners.
